The Time of Fulfillment

History is moving toward a moment known only to God, and the time of fulfillment reminds us that the Gospel window is still open, calling us to live with urgency and purpose.

“Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in” (Romans 11:25).

“The fullness of the Gentiles”—clearly, a key moment in history. But what exactly did Paul mean? He used a Greek word for fullness that relates to the quantity of people or things. It’s the same word that was used when the 12 leftover baskets were full after Jesus fed the 5,000. The message is clear: The time will come when there will be no more room.

This has a particular significance for Israel, which has experienced “a partial hardening,” which will last only until “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.”

When will this point take place? No one except the Father knows the exact day or hour, but it will happen suddenly, without warning.

Today, the Gospel still is being preached. Souls are still being saved. But at some point, everything will change. This should give us a sense of urgency. The time is short, and there is much Kingdom work to be done. But the exciting thing is that each of us can play a role in fulfilling God’s plan.

You can be a witness for Christ and share the Gospel with your friends and family members. You can be a prayer warrior, interceding for the lost. And through your prayers and resources, you can join with others to help reach lost souls for Christ.

Don’t leave anything undone. Don’t waste the resources God has given you. The fields are indeed white and ready for the harvest.
