The Nations Worship Before the Throne

As the nations worship before the throne, Revelation 15 lifts our eyes beyond present rebellion to the day when every people will glorify the Lord, confess His name, and declare that He alone is holy and worthy.

“Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations! Who will not … glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you” (Revelation 15:3–4).

The Bible tells us Heaven is filled with praise and worship from angels, men, and women. But praise is not limited to believers. In his vision, John saw that “all nations will come and worship you.”

Who will gather to worship before the Lord? Everyone! People from all nations! Those who have served other gods; those who have blasphemed His name; those who have fought against His people; murderers and terrorists—all will worship before Him. They will bow down and lift their voices in praise.

Paul captured this same spirit when he wrote, “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:10–11).

Today as we look around the world, we see people focused on pleasure, fame, and fortune. We see politicians, business leaders, athletes, and entertainers driven by power and prestige. We see dictators who threaten wars and violence, and terrorists who spread fear. We see atheists defying God and rejecting His timeless truths. We see followers of other religions fighting against Christians.

But the Bible says that all these people will one day confess that Jesus is Lord! Everyone! They will worship the God they once defied and rejected. Let your heart overflow with praise and worship! Our God reigns! Great and marvelous are His works! He alone is holy and worthy!
