Every Disease

“Jesus went about all Galilee … healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease … they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments … and He healed them.”—Matthew 4:23–24

As Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, people brought the sick to Him. It did not matter what their condition was or what problem they faced. These people suffered from “various diseases and torments.” Some were demon possessed. Some were epileptics. Some were paralytics. But no matter what their problem, when they were brought to Jesus, He healed all of them.

He healed “all kinds of sicknesses” and diseases. Nothing was too difficult.

Remember that Jesus is the same today as He was that day in Galilee. There is no limit to what He can do. No matter what you face, you can come to Him with faith and hope. You may feel that no one can help you with your problems. You may be discouraged, ready to give up, depressed, or afraid. You may be facing something that seems incurable.

But Jesus is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). He is the same Savior who walked throughout Galilee healing every disease and torment. There are no diseases He cannot cure. There are no problems He cannot solve. There are no torments He cannot eliminate.

Right now, no matter what you face, commit your needs to Him. Trust in God and our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. He can heal your diseases, deliver you from torments, and provide for your needs. Do not give up or be discouraged. Have faith in Jesus! Call upon Him today!
