Satan’s Time Is Short!

Most believers have faced serious spiritual battles over the years. But I have good news: Satan’s time to wage war against God’s people is getting short!

You might be surprised to learn that the devil is more aware of God’s prophetic timetable than are most Christians. We can see this from an intriguing statement about the End Times in Revelation 12:12:

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time.

So how does the devil know that his days are numbered? He knows this because he recognizes the prophetic signs! Yes, Satan knows the Bible, and he sees that the biblical signposts of the End Times are occurring at a rapid rate. Israel has become a nation again. Jerusalem has been built up as a great city. Jewish people have returned to the Holy Land from all over the earth. All of these signs are a clear fulfillment of Bible prophecies.

However, the prophetic sign that most alarms the devil is found in Matthew 24:14: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” This is one of the most significant signs of Jesus’ return: He won’t come back until the Gospel has gone out to all the nations.
