God’s Great Masterpiece

God’s Great Masterpiece

Several years ago, I was seeking God before one of my international evangelistic campaigns. I heard Him distinctly say, “When you stand before My people, tell them they are not alone.”

I believe this is the same message He has for you today. No matter how you feel, you’re not alone and never will be. He has called you for a very special purpose.

God’s Word is so clear on this. He tells us, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  When we have this revelation, we can boldly say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

However, most of us have believed the enemy’s lies about who we are. “You’re worthless,” he tells us. “You’ll never be good enough. You’re destined to be a failure, never to amount to anything.”

Fortunately, no matter what your life has been like until now, this truth can set you free:

Jesus Christ loves you, and He’s appointed you to bear fruit for His Kingdom (John 15:14-16).

Christ didn’t choose you because you deserved to be chosen. It’s simply because He loves you and has a special purpose for your life. You’ve been placed in this moment in history so you can bear fruit for God’s Kingdom. You have important things to do!

Unlocking Your Destiny

So, what does it take to unlock your destiny in the Kingdom? First and foremost, you must understand that you’re a beloved child of God, a saint, a servant of the Lord. That is an amazing calling. God doesn’t make any junk!

The Lord wants to strategically position you so that when you come into different situations, you can demonstrate the Kingdom of Heaven by your life and words. That is your destiny as God’s son or daughter.

But perhaps you’re thinking at this point, “Ben, there are things I don’t like about myself. I see my faults and regret some of the things I’ve done. At times I even wish I could be more like someone else.”

But remember, my friend: You are not an accident! When you were created, God didn’t haphazardly throw parts and traits together without thinking. Your Heavenly Father didn’t send you through a celestial manufacturing plant so you could be like somebody else. He predestined you for greatness.

God’s Incredible Workmanship

Maybe you find this hard to believe, but Paul wrote, “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). The Greek word used here for “workmanship” is poiema, literally meaning a poem or a work of art.

This means God sees you as His masterpiece. Like a beautiful poem, He has put great thought into the rhyme and rhythm of your life.

Think about that for a moment. As God’s work of art, He put more thought into your creation than Michelangelo put into his paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Your Creator spent more time crafting you than Robert Frost did on all his poems combined. You are uniquely crafted as His workmanship!

When your Father looks at you, all He sees is beauty. He says, “I don’t care what others say about you. You are My priceless work of art, full of divine potential. I created you to do things nobody else can do in this entire world.”

Dear friend, are you ready to start believing and declaring what God says about you today? That’s the key to a whole new beginning in your life a season of peace, power, and fruitfulness like you’ve never seen before.
