Need a Resurrection of Hope?

What does Resurrection Sunday mean to you and me as believers?

It means we have a powerful new covenant with our living God. Hallelujah! Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we now have access to the promises He exchanged for our sin.

Where there is poverty, God promises to bring good news. If you are brokenhearted, He offers to bind up your wounds.

If the devil has held you captive to some destructive habit, the Lord comes to set you free.

If you’re mourning and grieving some loss today, God wants to comfort you. Instead of the ashes of defeat, He offers you “a crown of beauty.”

He wants to replace your mourning with His “oil of joy” and your despair with His “garment of praise.” What an incredible covenant we have in Christ!

As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday today, I want to pray for any specific need that you have right now.

Whatever turnaround you need in your life – healing, deliverance, protection, a financial breakthrough, or a restored relationship – today is the day for your breakthrough!
