anchor on the shore of an ocean, unshaken

Unshaken

It’s time to trade your fear for a supernatural confidence and take possession of the life God promised you.

Is it possible to feel totally secure even when your world is shaking?

That’s the heart of a life of faith. It’s the steady confidence that God is leading you even when all hell is breaking loose around you. Whether it’s a doctor’s report, a financial dip, or a rift in your marriage, trusting Him in the middle of the mess is what supernatural faith is all about.

Even when we feel like nothing is happening, God is behind the scenes strengthening our hearts and equipping us to defeat the enemy’s schemes. You might not always know His exact plan, but you can always know that He cares and is busy completing the work He started in you (Philippians 1:6).

A friend of mine once said, “There is no greater discovery than seeing God as the author of your destiny.” This is such a great quote. So often we think that we’re just randomly drifting through the universe, blindly going about our lives, when the truth is that God is always in control.

We can rest assured that the God of the universe is personally guiding our path—not just because of His power and goodness, but because of His overwhelming love for us as His children.

So let me ask you a question: What’s holding you back from claiming your covenant promises?

God’s plan for your life doesn’t end in the valley. He is moving you through the hard seasons and into the promise of His blessing. You aren’t meant to walk this journey alone. While the enemy tries to use these trials to distance you from God’s love, the Father has already provided the strategy to bring you through to the other side.

All the Tools You Need

The truth is that God has an incredible purpose for you – one overflowing with health, prosperity, peace, and hope. As His child, you aren’t just a survivor; you’re a rightful heir to every blessing promised in His Word. The devil will certainly try to trip you up with his schemes, but he cannot stand against the favor God has given you today.

The question is, which will you choose? God’s will or Satan’s? Wisdom or folly? Blessings or curses? It’s all up to you. You can choose God’s way and receive more blessings than you ever thought possible, or you can choose a way that leads to spiritual despair and defeat.

God says He’s already given us ALL the tools we need to win the battle. No matter what we’re going through, He’s given us the solution for our struggles and trials. Whether it’s our marriage or children, finances or health … we have a way to overcome the enemy and experience victory over every circumstance in our life.

I can’t help but think of Joshua of the Old Testament, a man who had a supernatural fearlessness despite what he saw in the natural. Though he knew his destiny was to possess the Promised Land, he also understood that conquering giants was a necessary part of the journey. In the same way, we must trust in God’s power to lead us to victory even when the giants in our own paths feel overwhelming.

God doesn’t want us just standing around wishing for more … He wants us to boldly claim our spiritual inheritance. He is calling us to be unshaken in our faith, trusting Him completely as we step out to take possession of the land!

The Battle Is the Lord’s

In Numbers 13, God instructed Moses to send out 12 spies to view the Promised Land before the Israelites entered it. After 40 days, 10 of the spies returned with a mixed report:

We went to the land to which you sent us. It flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. However, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the descendants of Anak [giants] there (vs. 27–28).

These 10 spies saw that God had wonderful plans for their lives. He had given them a fantastic land of abundance, but they saw no way they could possess such a land because of the strong enemies and impregnable fortresses.

Maybe this sounds like your life today. You’ve heard about God’s wonderful plans of victory and abundance for you, but the obstacles seem too great … the enemies too intimidating … and the cost too high. If this is your mindset, you need to hear the challenge of the final two spies, Caleb and Joshua: “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).

God’s people were at the very brink of the Promised Land. Yet they allowed fear and disobedience to keep them in the wilderness for 40 more years!

How could the first 10 spies get things so wrong? They allowed fear to deter them and gave a bad report because the obstacles to their destiny seemed like giants. Is that how your problems look today—enormous and
overwhelming?

Instead of allowing a spirit of fear to intimidate you, you need to aggressively take the battle to the enemy. Passivity and accommodation will never work.

Jesus spoke of the need to be on the offensive in our spiritual battles: “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12). We will never grasp our full blessings in Christ without a passionate pursuit of Kingdom truth against all opposition!

If you belong to Christ, your battle is the Lord’s. Don’t let any giant intimidate you and keep you back from God’s wonderful plans for your life. It’s time to go in and possess your Promised Land. You’re the rightful owner, and it’s time to wage spiritual warfare and take back what the enemy has stolen from you. The victory is yours!

Let me pray over you today …

Heavenly Father, I thank You that You have not given my friend a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I pray that they would choose today to keep their eyes on You and not on the giants in their path.

I ask for the spirit of Joshua and Caleb for them—a heart that is unshaken by circumstances and fully persuaded of Your promises. Grant them the boldness to move forward, the strength to take back what the enemy has stolen, and the faith to possess the abundance You have prepared for them. In Jesus’ name, amen.
