Stepping into New Abundance

Stepping Into New Abundance

Friend, it’s time for you to leave the past behind and move forward into a new place of freedom and victory. The problems of the “now” don’t have to hold you back from God’s awesome promise for your future (Jeremiah 29:11). If you’re a believer, greatness is your calling, and abundance is your portion!

Yes, the world is filled with calamity, and the devil would like to shake your faith. But if there’s turbulence in your life right now, it’s probably because God is taking you to a place of new heights and greater dimensions. He’s enlarging your territory.

You might as well give the devil a change of address, because God is saying, “I’m moving you to your new place of blessing and abundance!”

However, your expectation has a lot to do with what you’ll receive. The issue today isn’t just what you need from God, but what you’re expecting from Him. You see, the Lord has something for you that is much bigger than what you think you need.

The transition from where you are to where God is taking you may not be an easy one. He’s working to get you out of your comfort zone and into a new realm where He can demonstrate His power and glory.

God doesn’t make mistakes. He is good, and He’s good all the time. Though your circumstances may seem unbearable right now, you can trust that He’s able to turn around even the bad things for your good (Romans 8:28).

Activating Your Breakthrough

But you have a critical role to play in this. Why? Because activating God’s supernatural provision always begins with an act of faith.

Faith is not just a belief. You can believe God’s provision exists and still not get any closer to it. The children of Israel believed there was a Promised Land, but for 40 years their doubts and fears held them back from stepping into that place of abundance.

Jesus tells us exactly how the provision of God’s Kingdom operates:

This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain — first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head (Mark 4:26).

The process of receiving a harvest started with a person taking a step of faith and casting seeds into the ground. He didn’t just complain about how hard the economy was. Nor did he just pray and wait for God to turn things around for him. He did something, applying God’s principle of seedtime and harvest!

Today, I believe God has a new beginning for your life. He wants to give you a fresh start. But it’s likely that the breakthrough you need is tied to the seed you’ve been strategically assigned to sow.

What step of faith is the Lord leading you to take? Do it now, and watch Him bless you!
