Got Hope

Got Hope?

Hope is a powerful force that purifies our soul (1 John 3:3). When things don’t look good, hope says, “It’s all right.” Even in the midst of the storm, God gives us His hope.

But sometimes it’s hard to understand why you’re going through a storm or trial. You say to yourself, “I’ve been faithful. I’m committed to the Lord, but I don’t understand why this is happening to me.”

Don’t lose your focus. Help is on the way. The difficult storm is taking you to higher ground. Noah passed through a torrential downpour, but the flood took him higher, until his ark landed on Mount Ararat (Genesis 8:1-4).

Moses was near burnout and in a very difficult place. But God promised to show him His goodness and glory in the cleft of the rock” (Exodus 33:19-22).

The apostle Paul was in the confines of a Roman jail. Yet he wrote about his contentment and encouraged Believers to rejoice in the Lord always” (Philippians 4:4).

I believe you’re near a breakthrough in your life. After years of struggle to get where you are with God, you are pregnant with destiny. You may be carrying in the womb of your spirit a ministry that can change the world!

Escape From Your Past

As you read this, you may feel that life is passing you by. Although you’ve experienced success in one area, you’ve faced gross defeat in others.

You need a burning desire for the future—the kind of desire that overcomes past fear and inhibitions. You will remain chained to your past until you decide: Enough is enough!

When your desire for the future peaks, you can break out of the prison of despair. I challenge you to sit down and write 30 things you would like to do with your life, and scratch them off, one by one, as you accomplish them. There is no way you can plan for the future and dwell on the past at the same time.

I feel an earthquake coming into your prison (Acts 16:25-26)! It’s midnight—the turning point of days. This is your time for change, so praise God and you will escape out of the dungeons of your past.

He wants to loose your chains so He can use you mightily. As you seek Him, He will heal you and bring purpose to your life.

Are You Seeking the Lord?
