Courtney Moore: How Do Working Women Fulfill Their God-Given Calling?

John FarrellBy John Farrell2 Minutes

Courtney Moore is the founder and president of the nonprofit organization, Women & Work, as well as co-host of the Women & Work podcast. She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Mobile and an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Courtney is passionate about seeing Jesus Christ honored by women as they steward their gifts and leverage their unique potential for His glory. She and Brent are the proud parents of three great kids and live in El Paso, Texas, where Brent pastors. Her new book, Women & Work, is available nationwide.

Five years ago, the Lord led Moore to found the nonprofit, Women & Work, which focuses on helping women confidently step into their God-given calling and view them as meaningful to the Kingdom of God. Whatever work women are called to do, whether that’s out there in the working world or as a stay-at-home mom, her organization wants to see them do it through the power of the spirit and really help women connect it to their faith.

Women & Work has been a dream of Moore’s and the organization for several years. She collaborated with 10 women on Women & Work, which supports the organization’s mission of helping women support other women. Each chapter, written by a different contributor, provides a rich, unique perspective on women in the workplace and the pressures they face in an increasingly secular world.

Moore joins Inspiration Ministries’ Digital Content Manager John Farrell and Social Media Manager Julia-Page McCarley to discuss her book, her nonprofit organization, and women and their role in the workplace. We hope you enjoy the interview below!
