Dallas Jenkins’ The Chosen series is authentic, powerfully human, and possibly the best portrayal of Christ’s life ever. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to meet Jesus, this series does a great job imagining what that might have been like.

Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) transforms all of them: A charismatic fisherman (Shahar Isaac) drowning in debt. A practical tax-collector (Paras Patel) undone by the beautifully impossible. A teacher (Erick Avari) who thought he knew all the answers. Brothers who think of themselves as good people but who still have a lot to learn. A Samaritan woman (Cynthia Santiago), bitter and alone.
Then Jesus.
The Chosen series invites you to follow Jesus as He heals, laughs, and shatters what seems possible. This portrayal is very human yet very biblical.
