Steven Furtick is the founder and lead pastor of Elevation Church. Through Elevation Worship, TV, and online streaming, he has helped grow the multi-site Elevation Church into a global ministry.
In straightforward, conversational sermons, Steven Furtick focuses on the strength of God in our everyday struggles. His candid discussions connect with listeners, as he points them back to the Word of God. The Elevation with Steven Furtick ministry program offers encouragement for today’s problems, and he believes wholeheartedly in the power of scripture to speak to us in modern life.
Steven holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Theological Seminary and is the New York Times best-selling author of several faith-enriching books. Among these are Crash the Chatterbox, Greater, Sun Stand Still, and (Un)Qualified. He is also a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer.
Steven and his wife, Holly, live in the Charlotte area with their two sons, Elijah and Graham, and their daughter, Abbey.
