Learning God’s Ways

The world is filled with opinions. People with their own explanations and evidence. Many voices, each convincing in its own way. What is the path to success? What is the right way? What is wrong? What is the answer to the world’s problems?

Even Jesus’ disciples had questions like these. After hearing Him teach things they did not understand, some went their own way. Even “His disciples grumbled.” But some remained committed. As Peter said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life” (John 6:59-68).

The Bible reminds us that we have choices. If we have chosen to follow Jesus, we have made the most important decision, a decision that impacts everything in our lives. When we hear other voices, we need to reaffirm our foundation. Trusting Him. Serving Him. Following Him. Remembering that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).

Micah prophesied that God does not necessarily select popular people or theories. He reminded us that our goal should be to seek Him, that “He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.”

The Bible tells us that God looks for people who genuinely seek to please Him, who are sensitive to His Spirit, and follow His leading. Who have surrendered their lives to Him.

Today, humble yourself before Him. Submit your life to Him. Cry out for His wisdom. And seek to know His ways. This is the path to peace and blessing.
