God’s Promise of Hope

God’s Promise of Hope

Inspiration MinistriesBy Inspiration Ministries2 Minutes

Paul told Roman believers that diligence was a key to a victorious Christian life. In every situation as they persevered, they could have hope. More than that, they could rejoice in hope!

Paul knew we need hope, too. No matter how dark our circumstances may appear, we always can hope in God, for hope endures (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Paul had faced situations that seemed hopeless. As he and Silas sat in jail in Philippi, they could have given up. Instead, they sang praises to God. And He delivered them (Acts 16:22-32).

Every day, we may experience situations that seem threatening. We can feel worried or afraid. In these moments, we can find victory when we hope in God. But this should not be the hope of desperation. We should be so confident that we rejoice in God in every situation. We need to actively trust Him.

We can depend on God, knowing that He is with us. We can rejoice in Him and the hope He promises. We can be filled with joy and peace no matter what we go through.

Seek to be diligent and persevere. Remember that everything in this world is temporary, but God is eternal! His kingdom will never end. His promises always are true.

Don’t be passive, but actively rejoice in the hope you have in Him. Praise and worship Him. Thank Him. His promises always are true. You can trust Him.
