Put God in Control

If the decisions or trials you’re facing in your life have left you feeling as though you’re battling on your own, it’s time to remember that with God, you are never alone!

Instead of taking matters into your own hands, trust in God’s amazing wisdom and protection, and look to Him first!

While this may seem difficult to do at certain times, the truth is that you do not know what’s best for your life—especially when outside stressors are clouding your judgment—but God does.

He has the advantage of knowing your life from its end all the way back to its beginning. You have the Creator of this amazing universe on your side! He knows all things and has made all things. What awesome privileges you are entitled to as a child of God!

What Being His Child Means

Because you are a child of God, He is always with you to help you, guide you, teach you, comfort you, and give you peace, joy, patience, and strength.

Whenever you need His grace, love, and provision, they are always available to you. When you need wisdom, direction, and guidance, you simply need to ask God, and He will give it to you (James 1:5).

When faced with tough decisions, take comfort in knowing that “The Holy Spirit will teach you all things” (John 14:26).

No matter what stress or decision you face, whether it be emotional, financial, health-related, or more, trust in God and hold Him close in worship and prayer. Isaiah 26:3-4 states:

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is the Rock eternal.

You Are Not Alone

When hard times come, which they do to everyone, know that God gives a peace that surpasses human understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 says:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Remember this: God is able to meet you at your point of need. He is sufficient for you; in good times and in hard times. He will be your strength. Even if it feels that He is all you have, rest assured knowing He is all you need.
