God heard Your Cry

God Has Heard Your Cry

In Exodus 6:5-6, God speaks to Moses about the Israelites’ hour of breakthrough:

I’ve also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage. And I have remembered My covenant. Therefore, say to the children of Israel, “I am the Lord … I will bring you out from all of the burdens of the Egyptians. I will rescue you from their bondage. And I will redeem you with an outstretched hand and with great judgments.”

The Lord says three distinct things here: “I will bring you out; I will rescue you; and I will redeem you.” It doesn’t matter what you’re going through. When the Lord has spoken, He will watch over His Word and bring it to pass.

Friends, every victory and every breakthrough in life begins with a word from the Lord. When He speaks, power is released, and His words never return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

As you can see in God’s message to Moses, He is not oblivious to your situation. He has seen your tears. He has heard your groaning and feels your pain.

I’m convinced that God has ordained a season of breakthroughs for you. Why? Because, just as He told Moses, He has remembered His covenant. But you have a role to play in this as well. Just as God has remembered His covenant, you must remember—and claim—His covenant promises for your life.

God promises here that He will “bring you out” and “rescue you.” No matter what kind of situation you are going through, this is your season for God to bring you out and rescue you. Isn’t that good news?

Joy in the Morning

Then God says, “I will redeem you.” Not only will He bring you out and rescue you, but He also will redeem you from all the plans of the enemy. God has good plans for your life, and the Bible promises, Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).

Perhaps your trials have lasted a long time. The children of Israel had been under the bondage of the Egyptians for hundreds of years. But the Bible says God heard their cry and arose to deliver them from captivity.

In the same way as the Lord fulfilled His Word to the Israelites, so He will fulfill His Word to you. Every promise He has given you, I declare that it will come to pass, because He is faithful. The word of the Lord over you will not fail!

I believe this is your year of breakthroughs and your season of miracles. Don’t give up. Hold on to the promises of God.

It doesn’t matter how dark the night has been. After the dark hours of the night, there comes the dawning of a new day. God is declaring a new day and new season in your life. Embrace it today in Jesus’ mighty name.
