In His amazing love and mercy, Jesus gave His life on a blood-soaked cross to redeem us from suffering an ever-lasting punishment in hell — eternally separated from God. We can only be saved from this condemnation by God’s grace and Jesus’ blood.

Asking Jesus to be your Savior and the Lord of your life is simple. You do it by faith. You choose to believe that He is God’s Son and that He alone can save you from your sins.

1. Believe That God Sent Jesus to Earth to Save Sinners

It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick . . . for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners (Matthew 9:12-13).

2. Acknowledge Your Sin

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

3. Confess and Repent Your Sin   

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

4. Believe in Jesus Christ

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

5. Receive Eternal Life

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name (John 1:12).

6. Turn Away from Your Old Ways

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:7).
